This is my kids all time favorite snack. They enjoy these for a quick snack or lunch and they just love them. This pizza is an instant snack and will be ready in under 10 mins. Add your favorite pizza toppings to these party-ready single-serve pizza bagels. You can experiment with a variety of toppings. They only take minutes to make & bake.
These pizzas can be done in an oven(not in microwave oven) or in air fryer. Here I am using an air fryer to make bagel pizza. Using an air fryer makes it quick and easy and in less time.
How to make Bagel Pizza
PREP TIME: 5 MINS COOK TIME: 3 MINS TOTAL TIME: 8 MINS COURSE: SNACKS
Ingredients
- bagels – 2
- pizza sauce or marinara pasta sauce
- olive oil
- green, red or yellow bell pepper – chopped
- mozzarella cheese
- dried oregano
- crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer for 3 to 4 min on 375 degrees F / For ovens preheat to 400 F.
- Cut the bagel in half, lay them flat on a plate or baking sheet cut side up.
- Brush the bagels with olive oil, apply pizza/marinara sauce a thin layer, arrange bell pepper pieces. Sprinkle cheese on top of the veggies. Now sprinkle dried oregano or Italian seasoning and crushed pepper.
- Place it in the air fryer, close it and cook for 3 to 4 min or until cheese melts or until you see the cheese gets golden brown color. (For oven: Put baking sheet in preheated oven, bake for 7 to 8 mins or until cheese melts.)
- Serve hot and enjoy.
