- 1 lb radishes
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- parsley, lemon to garnish
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F or 218 degrees C.
Wash and trim the radishes. Then cut off the roots and cut radishes into quarters or cubes.
In a bowl, toss radishes with olive oil, herbs and spices.
Line the baking tray with a parchment paper and arrange radishes in a single layer on a baking sheet, making sure each radish touches the pan.
Place them into the oven for 14 minutes, depending on the size of your radishes, turning halfway through.
Finally, sprinkle some lime juice and chopped parsley to taste. Serve as a side or snack or salad or breakfast with some juice or toast!
- You may use minced garlic instead of garlic powder.
- Parsley can be substituted with cilantro.
- Air fryer can also be used for baking and the temperatures may vary.
- It’s important to have the radishes in a single layer, which allows them to brown well!
- Pierce roasted radishes with a fork to check the desired doneness.
- Swap thyme and rosemary with the herbs you have on hand.
- Add red pepper flakes for spiciness.
- May add smoked paprika along with the spices.
- Parsley, onion powder are optional but gives nice flavor.
