Ingredients

  • ash gourd chopped
  • lemon juice optional
  • salt optional
  • pepper optional

Instructions

  • Cut ash gourd, remove skin and seeds.
  • Blend to a smooth puree. Strain using a nut milk bag or cotton cloth or tea strainer.
  • Consume as is or you can add lemon juice, black pepper powder and salt.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  1. people who are prone to have colds and coughs must consume this juice with black pepper powder or honey to neutralize the cooling effect of the juice.
  2. Adding lemon juice, salt and pepper is optional, we can just add them for taste.
