This Mango Cream is the perfect mango recipe to make especially when it is mangoes season, that is summer!! Layers of creamy fruit and perfectly whipped cream with a touch of freshly sliced fruit on top. You will be licking your spoon like there’s no tomorrow!
Mango Cream is a mango dessert made with pureed mangoes and whipped cream. It can be served in two ways: 1. Layers of mango puree, whipped cream and mango slices. 2. The whipped cream is mixed with the mango and topped with/without ice cream, then served. Mango cream is best enjoyed chilled though it may be made and served immediately.
I made the cream by whipping heavy whipping cream with sugar and vanilla essence.

Step by step photo instructions
- Blend 2 mangoes with 1 tbsp sugar to form a smooth paste.

2. Place 1 cup heavy whipping cream/fresh cream, 1.5 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 tbsp sugar in a bowl. Beat until stiff peaks form.

3. Layer mango puree, cream and mango pieces in cups.

Ingredients
- mangoes, ripe – 5 medium size or 3 large – cut into pieces
- sugar – 2 tbsp, divided
- fresh cream/heavy whipping cream – 1 cup
- vanilla essence – 1.5 tsp
Instructions
- Blend 2 mangoes with 1 tbsp sugar to form a smooth paste.
- Place 1 cup heavy whipping cream/fresh cream, 1.5 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 tbsp sugar in a bowl. Beat until stiff peaks form.
- Layer mango puree, cream and mango pieces in cups.
- Serve chilled.
Tips
- You may use vanilla ice cream along with cream.
- You could make the mango puree, whip the cream then store them separately in the fridge in airtight containers. Layer them in cups just before serving.
- Mango cream is best enjoyed chilled though it may taste good when served immediately.
