Dry Fruit Laddu/Date & Nut Laddu

Dry Fruit Laddus are very delicious and very nutritious and super quick to make. Dry fruit laddu is an instant and healthy laddu prepared with only dates and nuts without any sugar or jaggery. This healthy laddu does not require edible gum for bonding. Dry fruit laddu is usually prepared during festival season. These are rich in vitamins, minerals and ideal for calorie watchers. This is a favorite snack to my family!! Having 2 laddus with milk makes a good breakfast.

Poppy seeds used in this yummy snack gives a nice crunch and flavor along with nuts. I used medjool dates. They are very soft and moist, hence don’t have to press them. If you are using regular dates, knead them or press them well with rolling pin after chopping or grind.
